The first jam I ever made nearly 30 years ago. Don’t be shy… be courageous!
The aniseed just heightens the flavour of the strawberries and leaves an irresistible perfume on your pallet. You will never be able to go back to straight strawberry jam again, not ever!
Strawberry Gin Sour
60ml Gin (Melbourne Gin Co is our fave)
30ml lemon juice
2 TBs Jam Lady Jam Strawberry Aniseed Jam
2 dashes of bitters
Pop all in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Good shake to combine
Strain into a chilled rocks glass with ice.
Simple Dessert/s
In a fancy glass, pop in some chunky crumble Amaretti biscuits, then a good splodge of mascarpone and top with a generous spoon or two of Jam Lady Jam Strawberry Aniseed Jam.
Layer, starting with puff pastry, crème pat, fresh strawberries, jam between crème pat and then another layer jam.
